Family Time

I live in NY but we never made the attempt to go to this amazing place..thank god we did because it’s simply fabulous. Its divided by day; on Saturdays from 11 to 6, is only food vendors and Sundays is flea market with food vendors. I can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed these two days and how much I lovedddd going to the flea market. I only took pictures of the food vendors with the best food {in my opinion} and some of the flea market vendors that caught my attention. Enjoy the tour!
Best bbq pulled pork sandwich ever!
Omg, these tacos were phenomenal!

imageMofongo was yummy. Puertoricans and Dominicans always battle to which country this dish belongs to. I’m Dominican and I can tell you both ways are greatly delicious.
imageThis nachos I will never forget!, and I will soon recreate and post the recipe!

imageChicken parmigiana and eggplant parm on a small bun was to die for!
imageExquisite taste. Lemonade with maple syrup…amazing.
Flea Market

I love vintage suitcases, they are great stacked up to use as a side table or under an entry table.

Vintage license plates can be framed or not! and placed in a home bar, boys room or a man cave!.

wpid-2014-08-04-13.03.14.jpg.jpegKeys are great to put on frames. Letter stamps are fantastic because all you need is ink to make them work. It will give your envelopes a chic and timeless look. I use mine for thank you cards, birthday, teacher’s notes, you name it. The big letters are so beautiful, you can get an entire name or just one letter and you will have instant, personalized art.
wpid-2014-08-04-13.03.57.jpg.jpegDrawing on wood!, I loved these. For me, art is anything that means something to me and my family and in this case you can outline a piece of wood yourself with your country, state, town, food, names or anything of your choice and it will be an unique piece of art. The wood caddies can serve as cleaning products caddie, to place several small pot plants, for a side, coffee and dining room table with fresh flowers.

Vintage cameras are a great way to start a collection that can be displayed in your home. I hope you enjoyed this tour!

Family time is very important for my husband and I. On a weekly basis we do stuff with our boys. One of our favorite things is to go to the movies. Before we had our kids, we used to go often but now since only PG movies are our priority, whenever one comes out we head to our favorite movie theater. We eat theater food, but at times movie theater food is not what we crave and we take food from home!!!!.

This is what I made: A sandwich for each (my 2 year old and I shared my sandwich); took water and bought pop corn and a fruit punch at the concession stand.  It does not matter if it’s a sandwich; I had to make it pretty!. I got this take out boxes and wrapped each sandwich with wax paper and then just place them inside the box. How cute it this!!
