Super Simple DIY

I have loved chalkboard for as long as I can remember and this is why whenever I can create using it I’m on board. I came across these mini canvas with an easel board at a Goodwill store for .49 cents and I had to get them!. This project can be done with any canvas, if you get a bigger canvas, buy a larger amount of chalkboard paint. Having a chalkboard canvas can be use for writing menus, playing games, leaving messages, you name it!, the possibilities are many.

Instructions:

* Take a disposable paper plate and pour a small amount of chalkboard paint using a painter’s brush (mines are from Lakeshore Learning)

* Brush the first coat on the canvas and let dry for about 30 minutes before applying the second and final coat. Note: the bigger the canvas, the longer it will take to dry.

* Once the second coat is completely dry you can start witting with chalk!, yep, that easy!. Here are some of the uses I will give them.
